Africa, the cradle of rich and diverse cultures, has long been a source of inspiration for artists the world over. African cinema, in particular, shines for its creativity and ability to tell deep, meaningful stories that resonate beyond the continent’s borders. However, despite this undeniable potential, African cinema remains largely under-represented on the international scene.

This is where Afric’Art Progress comes in. Our association was created with a clear and passionate mission: to promote African cinema in all its forms, providing a platform and support for filmmakers, directors, actors and enthusiasts working to showcase African talent. We believe that cinema can be a powerful vehicle for social change, intercultural understanding and global dialogue.

How to proceed?

Step 1: Get the membership form
You can obtain the membership form by downloading it from our website or requesting it by e-mail. Make sure you have a printed copy of the form to fill in.


Step 2: Fill in the application form
Take the time to fill in the membership form carefully, providing all the required information. Be sure to clearly indicate your contact details, including name, address, telephone number and e-mail address. Also be sure to specify whether you wish to join as an artist or as a structure.


Step 3: Prepare your payment
The annual membership fee for the year is €15.00 for artists and €50 for structures. Please prepare a check payable to Association Afric'Art Progress for this amount.


Step 4: Send your membership form
Once you've filled in the membership form and prepared your payment, send them to our association's postal address. Make sure that the postage is correct and that the cheque is enclosed with the form.

Your membership and support are invaluable to our association and the artists we support. By becoming a member, you are making a significant contribution to the promotion of African culture.

Afric'Art Progress is much more than a simple association: it's a passion, a shared vision of celebrating the cultural richness of Africa through art. Our aim is to highlight African artists, create spaces for cultural expression, and foster meaningful intercultural dialogue.

As an Afric'Art Progress volunteer, you'll play an essential role in achieving these goals.



There are many ways in which you can actively participate and make a difference within our association:

- Sharing professional skills: If you have skills in filmmaking, directing, production, promotion, distribution or other aspects of the film industry, we'd love to hear from you.

- Passion for African culture: If you're passionate about African culture, whether through music, dance, literature or other forms of artistic expression, your enthusiasm can help raise awareness of this cultural wealth among a wider audience.

- Event organization: You can help plan and execute film events, screenings, festivals, art exhibitions and conferences that highlight African cinema.

- Support for our artists: By collaborating with us, you can help support African artists by participating in the creation of new opportunities, facilitating the distribution of their work, or providing essential resources for their artistic development.

- Communication and awareness: If you have skills in communications, writing, marketing or social media, you can help spread the word about our association and raise public awareness of our mission.

- Creative projects: If you have ideas for film or artistic projects that you'd like to bring to fruition, our association can offer you a platform to realize them.
