Natasha Craveiro is a Cape Verdean sociologist, filmmaker, and producer, a vital member of the Cape Verdean National Cinema Nucleus, NuNaC. Born in Mindelo, on the island of São Vicente, Cape Verde, she co-founded the independent production house Korikaxoru Films in January 2017. As a producer, Natasha is credited with the poignant short documentary "Dona Mónica," which
garnered significant attention. Her expertise extends to feature-length documentaries, notably the critically acclaimed "The Master's Plan" and "OMI NOBU." The latter received the prestigious Étalon d'or in the Documentary category at FESPACO 2023, solidifying her reputation for impactful storytelling. These films were directed by emerging Cape Verdean director Carlos Yuri
Ceuninck, demonstrating her commitment to fostering local talent.
